Your student communities

Your student communities

Welcome to your one-stop digital hub to discover how to expand your network, make lifelong friends, and have an impact on your university experience! Through these networks you can get involved with campaigns, events and running activities, as well as learning more about how to enhance liberation, equality, and inclusion for all student communities at the University.

If you self-identify as: REACH, LGBTQ+, Disabled or a Woman Student, or you are a post-graduate, mature, or international student, we are here to provide support on making University life centred around your specific experiences.

We recognise that REACH, LGBT+, Disabled and Women students are groups marginalised by mainstream society. Liberation is important to us because our identities affect our participation, achievement and progression in education.

Post-Graduate, Mature and International students have been identified as groups that feel isolated from the wider student body and so we have created an online space filled with resources and opportunities for these students to connect and get involved.
