Good Afternoon everyone!
This is a little end of term round up of all of the amazing things we've accomplished together this year and a few reminders about the exciting things still to come.
Firstly, a massive well done to everyone involved in LLF and a huge thank you to all those who attended or donated. The event was a huge success, raising a brilliant £3,140 for Cancer Research UK and Liverpool Sunflowers. Another massive thank you and we cannot wait to do it all again next year!
Another highlight for us this year has been the incredible level of your dancing, your enthusiasm and passion, and the amazing attendance we've had this year. From our biggest taster session yet, all the way up to now we want to thank you for coming to weekly classes- it's so lovely to see so many of you come and enjoy our classes each week. Also with our socials this year, whether you came to the bar crawl, Halloween party, Christmas meal or one of our one-off classes- it's been incredible and couldn't have done it without you.
Just a reminder about our new Bachata Classes ran by the fantastic Fernanda which started this week in the Downstairs Kitchen Dance Studio. We had a fantastic turnout so hope to see you all there again next week. We are also back to beginners and improvers classes for bachata. Beginners will run 9pm-9:45pm, and Improvers from 9:45pm-10:30pm until the 8th May.
We'll look forward to seeing you there and hope you enjoy this exciting change for the last few weeks of term!
Also a reminder of our salsa classes with Karen- we are still running Beginners 7:30pm-8:30pm and Improvers 8:30pm-9:30pm until the 9th May in the Upstairs Dance Studio. And a huge thank you to JP for being such an amazing teacher for our society for so many years- we hope you enjoyed your classes with him and we wish him all the best.
