Providing a safe space for students to express their gender identity without financial or societal implications.
We understand that there are many hidden costs to exploring and expressing your gender identity, and we want to remove some of those financial barriers. The Gender Expression fund is for any University of Liverpool student who identifies as trans, non-binary, intersex or gender-diverse and would like access to items to enable them to express their gender identity.
- Fill in the Application Form here.
- Your application will be reviewed by the Gender Expression Fund Panel and applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis.
- Once your application has been reviewed, we will get back to you with a timeline for the funds.
💸The maximum amount that can be applied for is £50 and can be used to pay for an item, in part or in full.
💰As the Guild is a registered charity, we are unable to offer financial contributions towards Go Fund Me pages or fundraisers.
ðŸ’We will take into consideration any applications made by those who are unaware of what they identify as and wish to trial some gender affirming items before making that decision, as well as those who do not wish to label themselves.
💚Each submission to the fund is unique and we will consider each submission on a case-by-case basis, if the fund isn’t the right place for your request, we will do our best to signpost you to who can help.
If you need any extra information on items, things to look out for and retailers, please see our Gender Expression Fund Guidance here
