The Guild
Leave Liverpool Tidy Swap Shop Volunteer
This opportunity takes place on 29 Nov 2024
Help coordinate our Black Friday Swap Shop and support the Leave Liverpool Tidy campaign!
The Guild's Black Friday swap shop (29th Nov) is back! Its part of our Leave Liverpool Tidy campaign and gives students the chance to donate unwanted clothes, books and accessories and "purchase" something new without the negative environmental impact. Students can drop off items at Guild reception and exchange them for tokens that can be redeemed against donated items.
As a swap shop volunteer your role will be to help sort through donations students bring to the swap shop, hang and display items, keep clothes rails looking tidy and exchange tokens for donations. We're also on the lookout for people with sewing and repair skills to help with our fix-it station.
This opportunity is flexible and we're grateful for any amount of time you offer to support. Any hours spent volunteering can be uploaded to your timesheet and go towards your HEAR.The swap shop is on 29th Nov and we're looking for volunteers to help out between 9am to 5pm.
