My name is Lauren Goadby, and I’m an undergraduate student studying Geography . I am running for the position of Guild President because I want to ensure that all students, regardless of faculty or year, have their voices heard. As a student with a few years left of my degree, I am particularly motivated to achieve my goals and witness the change alongside my peers. I am committed to improving the compatibility of the University with your needs, creating a better experience for everyone.
What I will achieve:
Promoting better mental health - cheaper gym membership and access to some free classes a week, allowing you to become the best version of yourself.
Easing exam pressure- longer breaks after exams, you deserve a rest! As well as the prevention of exam stacking, with more communication between module leaders.
Reaping the rewards! - A guild loyalty card programme. A points based reward scheme to redeem within the guild, ensuring we give back to students who give to the guild!
